Dear Brethren, WELCOME to the Minchinites News Letter. It had been a long overdue request from some minchinites that there should be a Newsletter to disseminate information faster and to bring up updates to the Websites. This issue is therefore, a realization of that wish and, I hope, will keep you abreast of happenings at the Lodge and the District as well at the Grand Lodge. While the Newsletter would provide quick access to information and would force recipients to look into important writ ups immediately, the benefits depend upon the availability of e-mail addresses with the editorial office. Brethren may, therefore, send me their e-mail addresses and also request others, who would not be seeing this message, to send theirs. Let us hope for a good year with a fine flow of information for the general benefit of the Craft and the members.
Sincerely and Fraternally, J.M.I. Sait |
You are by now quite familiar with the Minchinites Website and aware of its great potential in disseminating Masonic knowledge and creating greater Masonic interaction among brethren - not limited to the rituals or lodge affairs. It has a larger dimension of propagating Brotherly love, Harmony and Peace. Launching of this Newsletter is one step forward and has the laudable purpose of bringing the families closer, as well.
I am much confident that this year will be a very enjoyable period, Masonically, for the members of Lodge Minchin. We have before us a great challenge of reaching beyond the excellent performance presented by our brethren of Lodge Quilon, just a month ago. We will achieve our target, as we have done on every such occasion in the past - and that is the beauty of the unity of our brethren !! Brethren, while the Mentor and the Web Master stay busy with their wonderful assignments, let us concentrate, for the time being, on the fast approaching DGL, which just about 150 days ahead. Sincerely and Fraternally, Suresh Mohan
